Syabab Qawiy is a selawat and kompang group consisting of current and former Irsyadians.
We were formed around the year 2011 under the name Muhibbeen as just a selawat and qasidah group. However late 2012, we became a kompang group as well. We are recognised with our cyan colored baju kurung.
We have performed at many venues so far. Community centres, void decks and hotels. We currently have only 10 members, but we are looking to 'upgrade' the current Muhibbeen group. Some of our members are also part of another group, Ikrab Ria.
I'm personally proud of my group, to have seen ourselves improving as performers. From just performing at our school, we have ventured out under the guidance of Ustaz Dzarif, whom we owe alot to.
I hope that we shall keep on improving, and also add on to our ranks.
